Scrolls are pointless for lvl 20 players
I don't know why anyone who is lvl 20 would buy and use scrolls to gain extra xp. Since all you get are skill points, it doesn't seem to make much sense. Also the skills now cost 1plat to learn from skill trainer.
I wish that they would give more incentive to lvl 20 players to gain experience other than just gaining skill points. I hope that the 2.0 update addresses this issue.

Level 20 characters are interested in skill points because you use them to buy capture signets for elites or to simply unlock a skill for PVP. There aren't enough skill quests in the game, at the moment, to get everything.

At this point, I've already done 5 RP chars, so it's a bit late for me to be getting exp bonuses.
However, this is probably more for reducing grind for future players than anything else. I ran out of skills to buy, and grabbed 4 SoC's I don't need even -_-
Maybe come early 2006, we'll have a use for our excess skill points. Swap secondaries to a new profession, and buy them all.

I guess I've got all the elites that I wanted already (only 3 more if I wanted them). Dont' get me wrong, I still love playing and doing the new quests. Now I feel like I've hit a reward ceiling. It was always easier for me to get experience running my farming build and killing tons of griffons/minotaurs. Maybe that spoiled it for me and I've used the skill points to buy sigs and capped everything at a much faster pace than i should have.

Um. I use the skill points to unlock secondaries' skills.
A E/Mo not = E/Me
A W/Mo not = W/N
A Mo/E not = Mo/Me
get my point?

I was talking about having 4 elites left total for both my professions. Doesn't take that long to do.

Anet is just thinking of the lower lvl players, that is the only reason i can see for this new add in of scrolls... you did not forget about the low level players did you?

Do the scrolls stack? Like if I use a couple'a different ones, I could get like a 500% bonus? Word.

Well for a lv20... its hard enough to get exp... at least for me. But thankfully Anet knocked the exp required for more skill points from 20,000 to 15,000 so we should be able to get skill points quicker. However for my lower lv characters. I may use a scroll, set out solo and reap the rewards

On a side-note, Anet has effectively halved the needed exp to get skill points for characters that hit the exp cap.
+50% exp boost means you're getting 3/2 times more exp. 10k exp needed to get 15k exp with the bonus constantly up-
10k exp needed per skill point, as opposed to 20k.
You just have to spend money for 25% of the reduction.

Well scrolls may be useless to you, but theyre very useful to tons of other people. There's not much anyone can do for you if you've already unlocked everything that you want and need.

The usefullness of the scrolls (by demand) can perfectly be described by the fact that there was (and maybe still is) a crafter that crafted the scrolls for 200 times the price that you could just buy them at a merachant.
The Scrolls are as usefull as Warriors with nearly 12 Healing Prayers, you should throw them away but something unreasonable tells you to keep them with you.

I have 2 character now
I change my E/Mes -> Ele/Mo
and also W/Ne -> W/Mo
The reason is that i feel more comfortable while playing Monk as 2nd profession.
